I deeply apologize for the wait... My only laptop has broke, at first I thought it was a Hal.dll (boot file) problem, but now it seems worse, when I try installing another os or using a rescue disk, I get I/o errors. So I think my hard drive is having trouble communicating to the rest of my computer. If that's true, I might not be back perhaps this year even.

Zomigah! This still exists? I thought you guys gave up on it. Well, meh... I'd love to know when you guys think you'd be done with it.

Good news...
I gave my computer to my cousin for a couple days and he fixed it somehow, and now my net's back up. Just waiting for Colin to log on msn so we can continue work on Earthlife.

If anything, we'll have a beta release by Sunday, December 5th. I say this with confidence because most of EL's security and basic gameplay scripts are usable.

FINALLY!!! I can't wait for it to come out.

The only problem now is that Colin hasn't been on msn (or anything for that matter) in about a week. Since he is the only one with the source right now, i'm not sure what i'm going to do on Sunday as far as the release goes. Just cross your fingers and hope he logs on before then.

Last thing he told me was that he was joining the army, I have no idea when or if he'll be more active, but for now I can't do anything about it. He is the only one who has the source, so even if I wanted to, I couldn't release. I've been caught up with scripting on another game also, so we're both pretty busy right now...I'll let you know when I find out more.

Why not ask him to give you the source files so you can manage it when hes gone.

He will have the source and all the stuff to run the server, I've been real busy with finals and what not for school. Plus on the side note of that my laptop has crashed 2 times, so it can barely hold a decent battery life while having it plugged in. So in the mean time I will keep updates posted.
